Seared Boneless Pork Chops

My parents always make the best boneless chops. I made it for the first time tonight and they came out great! Thought I would share the recipe 🙂 Few things to note, I think pork is a nice change-up between the usual chicken, red meat, and seafood rotation chain. It’s also affordable. That is always a plus. I bought a 4-pack of boneless chops a little over an inch thick each from Sprouts. If I recall, I think the whole pack cost me under $6!

Step 1: Marinate. I used minced garlic, S&P, honey, and course ground mustard. I used just enough to coat both sides. I let those soak up the goodness for about 2 hours, the longer the better is my motto.

-About 1 teaspoon of honey/mustard per chop.

-Salt and Pepper to taste

– 2 tablespoons minced garlic

Step 2: Sear. Sear both sides of the chops in a hot preheated pan with olive oil (1-2 min each side until you get a nice sear/crust).

Step 3: Broil. Throw those chops in the oven on broil low, depending on thickness of the pork. Mine were about 8-10 minutes per side. Yes you will want to flip them 1/2 way through.

Step 4: Enjoy. Now eat those delicious boneless chops. I like to serve with applesauce and brown mustard.

Let me know how it turns out! here are some pics of mine!!

Side Note: Roast green beans at 400 for 10-12 minutes for a nice CRISPY Side.
